Some thoughts about the Pasionaria Caerulea (Passion flower or 百香果花) above:

This is my favorite flower, which I first discovered in September 2007 in Fontenay-aux-Roses just south of Paris. Then in spring 2011 I came across some seeds on La Rambla in Barcelona, from which I managed to grow one (!) plant in San Diego.

But how this single plant has thrived, even managing to cover my back fence with endless blossoms in only eighteen months. A lovely reminder of the purpose of this website: to share the Beauty that’s all around us - if we simply keep our spirit, eyes and ears open to welcome it into our hearts.

What’s more, if we bestow love upon it, it will grow, thrive and repay us many times over. It is no other than happiness itself*, and yet so easily attained.
